StART Foundation- BENEFICIARY of Miss World Malaysia 2009

The StART Foundation is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of The Foetus International Group.(Foetus executive chairman) Datuk Vincent Lee felt the best way of giving back is to give back in the form of arts. The Foundation offers music,art,drama,and dance class to underpriveledge children aged seven to seventeen from five Klang Valley orphanages.Also benefiting are child refugess from Burma,Vietnam etc...The StART Foundation draws on arts to heal and inspire the less priviledge children.Furthermore,the Foundation hopes to unlock the children's potential by providing them an avenue to express,find and stretch themselves.

Who knows these children may one day become the next Ramli Ibrahim,M.Nasir,Ted Lim,Yasmin Ahmad,Michelle Yeoh, Hijas Kasturi,Tan Sri datuk Lim Kok Wing,Ibrahim Hussein,or perhaps even Wong Kar Wai, Venessa Mae,Zaha Hadid,Zhang Ziyi, and Hayao Miyazaki.

The StART Foundation would like nothing more than to give these children a world that's filled with hope.To raise their self-esteem and improve their confidence.To see them reach for the stars through their newfound love of the arts.
